character design exercise 1
this is an interesting approach for designing a character. do shapes cut out and collage them together and see what you come up with. no sketching, no thumbnailing, just put 'em together.

making nice shapes and whatnot

a student in the class suggested to put on some cat characteristic. apparently he has a story background of this character, named El Gato, set in the cotton plantation era. and supposedly Abe Lincoln character will be a hound dog. I really don't know what he's thinking, sound neat though.
