have you ever get inspired from a certain design done by artist and sort of re-design or adopt from that artist and take off from there. i bet you do. most artists are.

i was reading will finn's blog and saw this prop.

how exquisite i thought. i noticed how the body lamp is curved with irregularly lines yet it's quite appealing. so i started to draw my take on the lamp.















i think this is workin'. but it's lonely, so i put in another prop.















from what i've learned from will weston, you need couple of props to define plane; a depth.















one thing led to another...















yada, yada, yada.
